“Someday God will send someone to help us?”
Words of an elderly man from a bush community outside of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, as he looks on the empty, dilapidated school building which once housed over 400 children.
God is sending someone – He is sending Cry of Africa.
Cry of Africa is a Christian ministry begun in 2005 by Wales Goebel to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the people of Zimbabwe, Africa. The furthering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the primary goal of this ministry. In John 3:16, Christ explained that He was sent out of love into the world by God, as His only son, that through Him people may be saved from their sin and given eternal life. We will share Jesus.
cry of Africa realizes that the physical needs of the people in Zimbabwe are overwhelming. James 2:16 teaches, “If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?” Therefore, the ministry is committed to meeting basic physical needs as well as the spiritual needs of the people in this country. If man’s physical needs cannot be met, then how can he believe that his eternal needs can be met? We will feed His sheep.
Cry of Africa is spiritually and physically feeding the people of Zimbabwe through:
- Medical aid
- Christian Evangelism and Discipleship
- Feeding Centers
- Education
- Clothing and Shelter
- Agricultural Aid
Cry of Africa is a 501 (c)(3) Alabama non profit corporation. All contributions are tax deductible.
